Ushers play a vital role in creating a welcoming and orderly environment at our parish. They warmly greet worshippers at the doors, help them find seating, and offer assistance as needed. Ushers are also responsible for taking up the offertory collection, selecting parishioners to present the gifts, distributing bulletins, opening doors, and ensuring the smooth flow of the liturgy through basic crowd guidance.
An effective usher is friendly, approachable, and dependable. They should have a sincere love for people, be comfortable in large groups, and possess strong communication and interpersonal skills. Familiarity with the church layout and a spirit of hospitality are key.
Training is provided for all new ushers when they join.
Los ujieres desempeñan un papel fundamental en la creación de un ambiente acogedor y ordenado en nuestra parroquia. Dan la bienvenida con calidez a los feligreses en las puertas, los ayudan a encontrar asiento y les ofrecen asistencia cuando sea necesario. También son responsables de recoger la ofrenda, seleccionar a los feligreses que presentarán las ofrendas, repartir los boletines, abrir las puertas y asegurar el buen desarrollo de la liturgia mediante la guía y el control del flujo de personas.
Un ujier eficaz es amable, accesible y confiable. Debe tener un sincero amor por las personas, sentirse cómodo en grupos grandes y poseer excelentes habilidades de comunicación e interacción personal. La familiaridad con la distribución del templo y un espíritu de hospitalidad son esenciales.
Se ofrece capacitación a todos los nuevos ujieres al momento de integrarse.
