WelcomeThe Religious Education Program (RE program) supports the Family as the primary role in the child's Faith Formation in sharing the Word of God. We strive to create an atmosphere where the voice of the Lord can be heard, experienced, and felt.
Kinder - 12th
Ascension's Religious Education program is open and we welcome families of the Parish seeking to deepen their existing relationship with Jesus. Classes are 1 hour and are held on Wednesday evenings, we ask that students be on time and that absences are kept to a minimum of 3 or less.
WE ARE HERE TO HELP YOU!! Parents are the first and foremost teachers of their children and have the primary responsibility for the faith education of their children. Parents teach informally, but powerfully by example and instruction. They communicate values and attitudes by showing love for Christ and His church.
In the short time we have with young students each week, we provide instruction, celebration, social activities and welcoming them into the life of the Christ and the Church. We encourage parents to discuss class topics, learn prayers and inspire students to learn about their Catholic faith.
Regular Mass attendance is required for all students and their families!
We believe that learning about our beautiful Catholic Faith is a lifelong journey, participating in Mass and attending religious education classes is a fulfillment of our Baptismal promise to raise our children in the Catholic Faith.

BienvenidosEl Programa de Educación Religiosa (programa RE) apoya a la Familia como el papel principal en la Formación de la Fe del niño al compartir la Palabra de Dios. Nos esforzamos por crear una atmósfera donde la voz del Señor puede ser escuchada, experimentada y sentida.
Kinder - 12th
El programa de Educación Religiosa de Ascensión está abierto y damos la bienvenida a las familias de la Parroquia que buscan profundizar su relación existente con Jesús. Las clases son de 1 hora y se llevan a cabo los miércoles por la noche, pedimos que los estudiantes sean puntuales y que las ausencias se mantengan a un mínimo de 3 o menos.
¡ESTAMOS AQUÍ PARA AYUDARTE! Los padres son los primeros y principales maestros de sus hijos y tienen la responsabilidad primordial de la educación en la fe de sus hijos. Los padres enseñan de manera informal, pero poderosamente con el ejemplo y la instrucción. Comunican valores y actitudes mostrando amor por Cristo y Su Iglesia.
En el poco tiempo que tenemos con los jóvenes alumnos cada semana, les proporcionamos instrucción, celebraciones, actividades sociales y les damos la bienvenida a la vida de Cristo y de la Iglesia. Animamos a los padres a discutir los temas de clase, aprender oraciones e inspirar a los estudiantes a aprender sobre su fe católica.
La asistencia regular a misa es obligatoria para todos los estudiantes y sus familias.
Creemos que el aprendizaje de nuestra hermosa fe católica es un viaje de toda la vida, participar en misa y asistir a clases de educación religiosa es un cumplimiento de nuestra promesa bautismal de criar a nuestros hijos en la fe católica.
